From Germany to the US

The Second Witnesses from Elsa-Brändström-Realschule in Essen, Germany knew from the very beginning: They want to create an easy-to-follow overview of Lisa Baer’s life, a Holocaust survivor from the US, they met online. Including a wide range of material, from tin foil to dough, they created a unique video on her life story using the stop motion method. They were supported by video creator Kirsten Piepenbring from Lichtspieler Erklärvideo Manufaktur.

“Never Forget” is a collaborative project with the Museum of Jewish Heritage in New York City. It is funded by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
